Jute Scrim for traditional plaster mouldings reinforcement
Plasterers Jute Scrim is used in the construction of ornate Plasterware, cornices and traditional mouldings. The Jute Scrim adds strength to the fibrous plaster and prevents snapping and cracking out of the face.
Jute scrim is also widely used by interior designers and set designers, and we regularly supply Jute to the film industry.
Available in 200m rolls x the following widths: 3, 6, 12, 18 & 36inch
Hessian Scrim for frost protection, set decoration and upholstery
Quality Hessian scrim is primarily used to cover concrete from frost and can also be used to cover bricks. Hessian provides a cost effective method of protecting newly laid brickwork against frost damage.
It is also used in upholstery for soft furnishings, wall hangings, rug making, display use, etc, as well as by gardeners as frost protection and is widely used by interior designers and set designers.
Obeche Timber Lath
Obeche Timber Lath is used in the construction of ornate Plasterware, cornices and traditional mouldings.
The Obeche timber lath is used as a reinforcement to the back of traditional plaster mouldings, to stop flexing and cracking of the plasterwork.
